I tried to convert them with DNG Converter, and it said there were no recognizable files to convert. When I moved the files to my Mac to open them, instead of thumbnail previews, I saw 'exec' icons, even though the file extension says. I formatted an SD card and changed the camera's settings to shoot RAW. I decided to start shooting in the raw format with my EOS Rebel T2i. I cannot afford to upgrade either the OS or Photoshop right now. Because of this, I have to use Adobe DNG converter so I could open them in Photoshop. I am using PShop CS3 on a Mac running 10.5. My Mac could see the files and even open them in Preview. I borrowed a friend's EOS-1D Mark II and shot using the camera raw format. And it changes the file type without any color or quality adjustment. iPhone and Android both support cr2 files in the camera roll so then add the photo from google drive into the camera roll.

So I went online to convert it and the color was super different and strange. Hi I’ve been a canon user for over a decade now but with my new canon I realized that when taking vertical portrait photos, it gives you both a jpg and a cr2 photo (the jpg one is a little more thin) which further made me try to export the cr2 but as a modern zoomer I wanted to post it on Instagram which doesn’t allow cr2 files.
