The NAAC has modified the criteria, in which 70 per cent of the evaluation is done online on the basis of quantitative metric data, which consists of approximately 56 e-matrix data. At present, the university is preparing for NAAC accreditation cycle-4 for the next year. The university was accredited five-star rating in 2016, which is valid till 2023. Punjabi University has launched an online portal to collect department-related data for the NAAC ranking.
